I don't know. Why don't you ask my dad? He claims to be a christian Republican. Yet he has such a negative outlook on life and is constantly sighing and bitching about EVERYTHING! And even laughed while telling me about new bullets they started using Iraq that would "tear those mother f-ers apart"(even though my husband is in the army and might have to fight in the war??? How f*cked up and inconsiderate is that?! BTW, I don't even know if the whole bullet thing he was talking about is true, he's crazy anyway...). I can't tell you how many "Christian Republicans" I have come across that do not care how many feelings or people they have to trample all over just to get their f***ing opinion out there! A lot of them are so self-important, they don't care how they make anyone feel, just as long as they talk loud enough so everyone can hear. Sometimes I wonder what percentage of Republicans are narcissists.
*addition* wow, I got a lot of "thumbs down" things! I figured I would p*ss someone off. Is it the fact that my father and I have a bad relationship that I would talk so badly of him, or the fact that I have an opinion based on what I have encountered in my life? Bah, I don't even know why I bothered answering this anyway. I don't even care. Good night! I am going to bed!

First of all, I think Republicans AND Democrats are cast from the same upper crust white american. One plays good cop, the other bad cop. And every 20 years or so they switch roles. Ask an old person who was for the rich and who was for the working american back in the 20s, 30s, and 40s, into the 1950s. It was the Republicans. Get rid of the two party system and take away the temptation of "I'll be God you be the Devil this week" syndrome that runs rampant in American Politics.

To start with, if you are Republican you are not neccessarily a Christian, although many 'pubs are. You are also lookin at the politicians when you talk about judging and pointing fingers, and that is just what all politicians do. Third, I am not judgemental, and neither are any of my Republican friends. Go out and talk to some real Republicans in your city, you will find that they are caring everday people. And we certaintly do not hate the poor or make fun of them, and that is not an educated statement at all. Please go check out some real people instead of just looking to our idiots in the house and senate. I hate all politicians equally. Is that judgemental?

So, you're OK with the whole idea of "Stealing", so long as it is coming your way? What a hypocrite. You are confusing Judgmental with Cognition. Only politicians get rich by stealing your money. Everyone else has to earn their money by convincing you to give it to them in exchange for something of value.

make fun of the poor? please, use examples. Katie's point was that she is a Christian beacuse you wrote "claim to be". And who cares if she was name calling? You asked a question in a manner that was not really looking for any real answers, rather being accusatory, which pisses people off when there is NO truth behind it. and you are ridiculous pointing it at the Republicans! There are people in all aspects of life that are judgmental how dare you limit it to republicans! that just shows how NARROW minded and stupid you are.

You appear to have Diarrhea of the mouth; constipation of the ideas. The majority of republicans are poor. republican states are the poorest, and democratic states are the richest, starting with massachussetts and connecticutt.
Last time I checked, republicans wanted jobs. Thats why republicans support businesses, in order to create jobs. It worked, we have the lowest unemployment ever, 4.5 percent. Republicans have always been about the poor.
Oh, and democrats had control of congess for over 40 years, and did nothing. all the race riots, government violence against blacks, and voting fraud against blacks was durind that time and they did nothing. Now that the republicans have controlled it for 10 years,we have the strongest economy ever, more equal rights than ever, and taxes are lower than any time in the 20th century.

Robin, first of all, not all Republicans are Christians. PLUS, they "make fun of the poor" and "hate the poor"? What kind of drugs are you taking? You need to lower the dosage.
Are you purposely trying to sound stupid? It sounds like you have a problem with the Christian right. There are moderate and even liberal Republicans aplenty. Don't blame all Republicans for the hypocrisies of a few.

How many of us truly do not judge others in some way or another? Let those without sin cast the first stone. And I've never heard that republicans hate the poor. Liberal media can easily skew any story to their own point of view.
