because she has to learn for herself just what kind of man she will choose.you some times go through a few bad apples before you find the right one. right now just having a b/f is cool to a teenager,in time she will find what treatment she likes and she will learn the differences in different men.

She may see his flaws as attraction. After all if you took away every flaw of every person you've loved would they be the same? Maybe she is one of those people that feel like they need to be a mother figure in a relationship so she needs to push him further. There are many more possibilities but seeing as how I don't know this girl and her guy friend I couldn't answer with full potential.

Well, in my point of view, when you accept something as low as a bum it makes you feel better about yourself, how better to assure yourself esteem then to have somebody with no expectations and will not bug you to do much of anything and you will always be OK. why else accept a dumpster diver, as far as disturb, in what way? most people who go for weirdos are after excitement, and in general are boring people, they cannot find anything better then to hang with freaks all the time, think of it, if they cannot carry any kind of meaningful conversation(have a brain), then go after an attention getter.

Simple, he embodies everything that tht she has been taught is "bad" and on top that he likely shares several of her fathers' personality traits. These will be the traits that disturb her, though they disturb her in a familiar and comfortable way. Bad Boy + Daddy Complex gets 'em every time.

She is too young and naive to know any better or she has low self esteem and thinks she deserves to be treated badly.
