The Monday morning is always worse. Always; at least on a lonely Saturday night you can make a conscious decision to enjoy some quiet time to yourself - catch up on sleep, read, whatever. But if your Monday morning is $hitty, there's probably not a whole lot you can do about it.

Bad mondays are the worst days of all. You have the possibility of more $#!+ until Friday evening. If Saturday is not so great, you still have Sunday that may be better.
