I must agree Hugh Jackman as Snake, he would be the perfect choice since Kurt Russell is a little older now mm unless we are doing Snake from the Guns of the Patriots.

Hugh Jackman since he sort of resembles him and can just do the Wolverine voice... Or you can just get David Hayter to play him since he's the only one who can do the voice exactly like the game.
Knowing how video game-to-movie adaptations go, they'll probably end up casting Nicholas Cage or The Rock to play him though. ;)
