How about spending a day together. Take her out for either breakfast, lunch or dinner. Go see a movie, her choice. Or you can go bowling. Have a sleepover either your house or hers. Rent movies and stay up late talking.

I remember when I was 10, my friend gave me a slushy machine to make ones at home. Of course things have changed and it's all electronics and technology now so she may not be into something like that. What are some of her hobbies, does she like art or maybe a book? Gift certificates are always good too. Get her one for her fave store.

hey you seem to be the most favourite gal in ur environment..... because u can even make best friends of below ur age and especially 10 yrs!!!!!
well....ur frnd would have been old enough u could have given her something sentimental...but as u say she is 10yrs....ask her mom what she like the most ( but remember one thing her parents may also buy the same thing as their daughter likes it) or a pouch full of chocolates and a funny picture and a cute yellow flower........she is a kid and would love chocolates to eat...she may keep the funny pic as a piece of love from u and a flower would add delight to her day....wish her a happy b'day with the longest and sweetest kiss.
