try chewing on plain cooking oats (porridge)
This is the most natural, or if you can keep down fluids, ginger tea, peppermint etc.
You can try natural anti nausea tablets like ginger etc. for travel sickness from healthfood shop.
Bowl of cereal, helps raise you blood sugar, especially before bed if this is an ongong thing.

I put a cold damp cloth across my throat. When it starts to warm up then rinse it again and reapply. I'm not sure why, but it holds the nausea down.

Whenever I feel like I'm about to vomit, I take deeper breaths. This usually works for me. For me, breathing deeply (not too deep) usually suppresses the queasiness.

sometimes eating or sucking on a hard candy will work, some eat saltine crackers, some drink ginger ale,or soda, tea......but sometimes it will not go away and you end up getting sick anyway. it is miserable feeling and we have to deal with it.............
