umm rock I guess I like it because hip hop and rap put me in bad moods and rock puts me in a good mood :D

Rock.
I just dont see the point in hip hop and rap. it sounds good but its mainly rambling.
Its a known fact that Rock is more about sending a message with the lyrics instead of just sounding good. Although, im not saying rock sounds bad it sounds great, thats why i like it so much. Plus, hip hop and rap have no musical instrument in it ussually. Its just a gu talking really fast.

Rock...classic rock to be more precise. I like it because that's what I've grown up with. I don't mind Hip Hop but I hate Rap...mainly because it's not really a tune. Can you actually hum a rap song and have someone guess what it is?

I like rock because I like to play the guitar, and hip hop doesn't have a lot of tunes I can play if you're catching what I'm throwing.

Rock, especially classic rock. Hip hop and rap mostly are too caught up with "shorties" and butts and breasts and they swear an awful lot.

i like a bit of everything but i like Rock most of all, i just have great appreciation for it because in hip hop and rap most of those guys dint write their own lyrics but rock bands play instruments and most of the ire songs have meanings.

rock country jazz classical.... anything but rap..... hyroglyphics set to music... can't stand it...
I can't understand why white kids in suburbia can "relate" to a rapper from "the streets."
Usually, music is something that moves you, you can relate to or speaks to you. I don't see how a affluent white kid can relate to "livin' in the ghetto..." "I got fifty mil in the bank and your a whore..." The two don't mix....
The other thing I don't understand is the whole "pants down under your a ss thing" Don't they know where that's from... it's from the prision system... that's how they used to tell who were the "prision fairies" or the homos or gays or whatever word you'd put in there... so the rappers thought it would be cool if they wore their pants like that... as to say they were in prision.... only to the educated it shows that they were the biatch.
