I remembered watching it while growing up in the 1970s so I ordered it from Overstock and oh was I tickled when it arrived. Such a fine show my favorites are "When We Grow Up" with Roberta Flack and MIchael Jackson, "Sisters and Brothers" performed by the "Voices of East Harlem", the baby scenes featuring Mel Brooks and Marlo Thomas and of course the title track. In some respects seems dated now but some messages are timeless.

One of the greatest things I remember about being a child. As a matter of fact I just got the CD 2 months ago. the two babies are the best.

It is really a great movie! I use to show it to all my classes grades 2 through 5! It taught some really fabulous life lessons that are still a topic for discussion with elementary students! I have the original VHS edition from the 70's!

I have very good memories of that show. There were two of them? or just one?
We were not a demonstrative family, but I remember my brother and I told each other we loved each other for the first time watching that special.
