I have known my neighbor for almost a year and we have talked a lot outside and on our cell phones. Anyway I am doing some business for him (Travel) and I suggested that we meet at a coffee house to discuss his travel plans in more detail, but he suggested his apartment. Does that seem like he wants to talk about other things than travel?

Depends on his vibe. And if you guys flirt leading up to this, then probably. Either that or he doesn't feel like spending money on coffee. So you should definitely go off his vibe.
