My friend who lives close by says her step dad (also a teacher for our highschool) likes to try and watch her and her sister whenever they are undressing or are getting in the shower. She said that he's always peeking in the cracks of their doors. Their mom can not get a job because of some medical reasons. They are too afraid to let their mom know because if he's gone then there isn't really a source of income. Yet if he stays it could eventually become worse. My friend said he's never abused her but it almost seems that sometimes he might try. I feel like something could and should be done. I just don't know what.

Their mother would never forgive HERSELF if her daughters do not come forward with this information. If the worst case scenario in that is that the mother chooses not to believe them then they need to simply report it to the police. There are child advocates who will make SURE this is looked into, will interview the children and the father. They are being violated. I believe this constitutes sexual abuse.

Also.......and I think this will work like a charm......tell your friend to confront her stepdad. Tell her to tell him that if he does it one more time, the lid will get completely blown off this thing and that there are people who know about it already so if he even thinks of doing something that renders them unable to tell the tale, someone else will and it will get taken clear on up to his boss, it will, in fact, get taken allllllll the way. He's preying on them now......but she can get the upper hand in a red hot second if she lays it down like that.

first this is a family matter.if something is really going on then your friend should open up.personaly unless i knew it for sure i would keep my mouth shut.have her describe this situation to an adult that both of you trust and go with whatthey say.i am not saying ignore it by any means.it just is a tough one to work with.does this girl have any problem with him?just alot of things for a kid to figure out.i certainly would not cause a big thing over it till all the facts were on the table.if you guys ruin this guys job over nothing then how are they going to live?it doesnt matter if it true or not once he is accused in the publics eye he is done.just know what your getting into before you go forward.I do commend you 100% for caring.their are not alot of people left that do.

This guys sounds like a pervert and may eventually try to do something bad to your friend. I think she should tell her mother whats going on regardless of what the outcome is. It would be far worse if this guy ends up trying to molest her and obviously her mother would be better off without this creep!
