This is a psychologically related question. I’m not bashing genuine transsexuals. I’m just perplexed. Although it is hard to prove, I am very sure there are a number of Yahoo users who use Avatars and names that belong distinctly to the opposite gender.
What would be the reason for this? Some people take it lightly and say it’s just online role-playing! But seriously, if they play such a role, night after night, doesn’t it tell us something about their psychological make-up? Could this even be sign of psychosis?
Wouldn’t it mean that these people are confused about their gender? In the worse case scenario, couldn’t this be a sign that there are sexual predators out there using transgender pretense?
I’d appreciate it if we could keep this question abuse-free.
