Is there any way to make your own playlist online for other people to listen to?

Unless you want to use a service like Yahoo music (as listed below) then you'll need to create an m3u. An m3u is a playlist of MP3s that's rather universal on the web. You can then embed windows media player on your website and reference the m3u.
