vents are on the baseboards, with a lever in the center to open & close. a solid metal cover that moves up to open & down to close.

go to a real store. screw lowes and home depot. get out you phone book and look up hvac contractors and take an old one with you when you go.

Check Lowes and Home Depot, might be surprised by what is on the shelf.

If not there then I would call local HVAC compaies and see if any carries supplies or parts. Many do.

Another avenue would be to google for them and see if any web sites have them for sale, if not even ebay.

Maybe a house in the local area is being remodeled. Might be able to buy up their old ones cheap and have them professionally cleaned and painted.

Check your local listings to see if there are any construction resale stores in your area. Sometimes they sell, old outdated supplies, used materials, and overstock, for a fraction of regular costs. Often they have the type of things youre looking for, but cant find elsewhere. In central Oregon, the local Habitat for Humanity has a couple of 'restores' that offer great deals on a number of different consrtution materials.

I would try Johnstone Supply. They are a large heating and cooling parts supplier. Don't know what size you need but here is a start...6x10 part no. L88-901, 6x12 part no. L88-910.
