Well figure anything that goes in that isn't gas will cause the vehicle to not start or run.
This in turn would issue a service call to a mechanic and at least flushing of the fuel system. This would be at least $300.
Being that it is a minimum of $300 that is now a felony charge for the person who put something into the tank to begin with. Called destruction of property.
Felony always has jail or juvy time included with it.
So what was the question again? Always THINK before you act.

If you have a greivance with someone, seek a legal venue to settle the matter. Many people who are ordinarily non-violent, may lose their self-control and pop a cap in you.

Try this---
Stand real close and listen to the filler with the cap off. If you can't hear anything, Drop a match in it so you can see that you SHOULDN'T DO THINGS LIKE THAT.
