These lazy people will not even look for a job. In Austin, they had a job fair for them last month, provided busses, and went to their doors to pick them up. Actually went and knocked on the doors. Only one person went to the job fair, and did not take a job. The fair cost FEMA $7,000.00. I guess it is easier to sit on your azz than work. Should we send them a bill for the thievery they are doing to us?

Just a thought: If they didn't get a monthly check, they would probably be out stealing from us, cause they sure aren't going to work!

How many benefits did they have for the Katrina victims? How many people dug deep into their pockets when their were collections? How much did they get from the government already?: There was a woman who just got arrested here for lying and saying she lost two kids and everything she had in Katrina and it was alll bullshit to get welfare and other benefits.
And they want to rebuild even after if was said that it's not known if the new levee will hold back another storm of that category.
Did you know that within Financial communities Louisiana is known as welfare capitol of the United States? Enough! All these people have been brought into New Orleans to help rebuild.
Why didn't the government make the people who live there rebuild their own community?

Yes I am. It's not like they didn't have enough warning that she was coming, and that she she was going to be a category 5. They CHOSE to stay! So I think they need to cry on each others shoulders and leave us alone. All they have done is complained about how long it took for help to arrive blah blah blah. I personally know several men that were deployed to help. They had to DRIVE to get the equipment there. Those trucks don't fly! Anyway I am sick of all these people crying about the misfortunes they have had. Everyone goes through tough times but not all of wine about it.

While there are many, many Katrina victims working again and being productive members of society, there are some who insist on continuing to be victims. These are the ones on welfare before the storm and that is the only life they know. But, to answer your question, the answer is YES!

It is all the lazy bums did in New Orleans....did you expect more from them?

I'm shocked they actually got up and moved to begin with. Figured more would of just turned the roofs into their new homes.
