btw its an ipod nano 2 GB

and we cant turn it off and it has full charge

if it's updated to the latest ipod update (1.2.0?) then there have been a lot of bugs with the latest upgrade from Apple....until they release a new fix, you'll have to just reset yourself...
-hold on MENU button & CENTER button @ the same time until the screen turns black and the apple sign shows
-just wait for everything to show up

It's ok...nothings wrong with it. It happens to all ipods. All you need to do is reset it. You can go to apple.com and go under your ipod nano and look for troubleshootings, and it will give you the step by step walkthrough of how to fix it. I have a 1GB, and the way i do mine is i hold the MENU and middle button together for atleast ten seconds or until the apple logo shows up, after that you should be ok. If this doesnt help then it could be messed up....hope this helps.

Sounds like you just need to reset it. If it continues, it could be the hardware or the firmware. It may be worth it to swing by the Apple Store.

haha sose we already know how to do it you just hold the circle button and menu button at the same time and it will restart. LMAO we were looking around and we found your question.
