Ok I know this sounds stupid but how do I get songs on it? I have no idea.

download the itunes cd that came with it or go to apple.com or appleipod.com and you can download it from there. then you can put in a cd and click import at the top right corner or if you have a limewire you can highlight and drag files to the library. from there you connect your ipod to your computer and go to file "sync" files to ... ipod.

transfer the songs from your computer to your nano ipod. use the data cable that comes with the ipod. =)

lol i had that same problem with my I-pod video....
Ok....first buy the songs...or if you hav a software you can get free songs drag and drop it to the library....once you bought or drag and dropped it will apear on your library....then hook it up....and u should c it...hope this helps :D
