I can't but I'll direct you to algebra.com where there are FREE TUTORS that if you post the problems, they'll send you the answers worked out via email.

Hope that helps!!!

eta:

actually

-13+20= 20-13=7

-29+14= -15

-5+5=0

84+(-18)=84-18= 66

5.7+(-3.2)=5.7-3.2=2.5

-13+20=7 (associative property: this problem is the same as 20-13=7)
-29+14=-15 (same as above)
-5+5=0
84+(-18)=66 (this problem is just like 84+1(-18). Since you have to multiply first because of order of operations, you distribute the +1 and the negative on the 18 wins out. The problem becomes 84-18=66
5.7+(-3.2)=2.5 (same reason as above)

Forget some of these turds. I'll help you out.

if two signs are different, you have to subtract.

So -13+20 becomes -13-(-20).

Switch the second number's sign. Then add the values, then put the sign!

So, -13-(-20)=-33.

Same with the next one, which becomes -29-(-14) which is -43.

Add two numbers whose signs are different, but the absolute value is the same, it's zero. So -5+5=0.

Next is 84+(-18). Switch the sign, which means -18 is now 18.

Then subtract. 84-18=66.

Same with positive and negative deci's.

Hope that helps!

-13 + 20 = 7
-29 + 14 = -15
-5 + 5 = 0
84 + (-18) = 66
5.7 + (-3.2) = 2.5

-13+20=7
the sum is positive seven because the larger no. is positive which is 20.

negative smaller + positive larger = positive
positive smaller + negative larger = negative

-29+14=-15
-5+5=0
84+(-18)=66
5.7+(-3.2)=2.5

if the larger no. is negative and the smaller no. is positive, you subtract the smaller from the larger then you copy the sign of the larger integer. same also if the larger no. is positive..

hope it helps

this is your homework, you should pay attention and ask questions in class or get a study partner to learn the stuff that your haveing problems with. That's the reason that I failed Algebra II and didn't go any further is becasue I didn't understand it, Didn't ask questions, and relied on others to do my work for me.
