Love is what you need.
The only thing though, you have to start giving it. The more you give, the more you get. Sit before a mirror and look at yourself. First the way you are now...and then start smiling. Feel how even a genuine smile to yourself makes you feel better. Start smiling, let yourself feel better. Be happy for your health, wealth and that you are wise.
Let the love flow in Come on..be happy.(;<)<
Its time to lie and relax and re-evaluate your self from within. Get to the root of what the problem is and get rid of it. Set some new goals for yourself and start enjoying the days you have left...they are all to precious.
Life is too short!
It should be easy for you to change...because its up to you.

Wow, you sound just like me. Did you know that depression can often manifest itself as irritability?
If you have an actual depression problem, it can come about without a reason, though there is nothing to make you feel depressed, you still do.
I would do two of three things:
1. Try an herbal medication like St. John's Wort
2. Try yogo (I know this sounds like a cliche now, but I don't mean take a class, I mean do it at home, alone. It helps you relax and focus)
3. Talk to your doctor about taking Prozac (I have taken Zoloft, paxil and Prozac and the last seemed to work the best.)
The one thing you should absolutely do is this:
When you feel yourself about to give a less-then-nice comment or answer, BITE YOUR TONGUE! Take a deep breath and give yourself time to think of something nicer to say or a nicer way to put it. Training yourself to do this will really ease your problem and probably your relationships as well!
P.S. You might want to try filling up your day as well, if it isn't already. Sometimes people do not react well to too mush leisure time and this can make them irritable and cranky without knowing why.

Jennifer,
Sounds like you might have a touch of depression ...sometimes it conditional .. in that your lacking something you need ... a higher purpose ... something to challenge you ... you feel unmotivated...generally dull and uninspired and it carries over to your relationships and the way you deal with folks ....... try taking classes .... perhaps taking craft work shops .... volunteer at a hospital or nursing home ...... If you really wanna feel blessed see if you can be a teacher assistant for a "Challenge School" where the kids are special needs ..... You'll never be more grateful for what you have ... and you can make a real difference in a child's life in the process.
Good Luck!

it sounds like you are suffering from chronic depression darling. People think that the only symptom of depression is deep sadness, when in fact for many it shows up in the form of irritability, anger, frustration, sadness, and a feeling of something being "wrong".. you may sleep well, eat well, work well, parent well, and still have this feeling of being just about ready to blow. A feeling of being bitchy and angry all the time... and still you try to hide it from everyone, but it's exhausting and leaves you feeling angry at YOURSELF for not being able to control your own feelings. Ask to see a doctor... depression is nothing to fool around with.

2 theories: 1. You need some form of ADVENTURE....get out of the EXCELLENT BOX that is your life....gain new perspectives, travel, become artistic and paint.......etc.
2. When you become a witch, could it be due to HORMONAL CHANGES, such as early menopause>??? Maybe your body and mind are not in sync, try some YOGA and DON't TALK.....maybe you should LISTEN MORE!!!!
GOOD LUCK.......many people would LOVE to be in your position........PEACE

You don't say how old you are. Possible hormone changes going on?? If it isn't that, then something is wrong. For some reason, you are not getting what you need. Do you have a hobby? Do you take time out for yourself? Do you have a 'date night' with hubby?? Do you really love your part-time job? I think you first need to look into body chemistry. Talk to your doctor.

i know it sounds really cliche but maybe therapy would help? you sound like you have a little spending money and it could be really beneficial. i was the same way and i finally went to a counsler and now i am a lot better, i have a higher self esteem and i am noticably nicer to people around me. try it -- what do you have to lose? good luck!

Get your hormone levels checked. Atfer 4 kids you might have a progesterone imbalance. They do a saliva test for it, or you can try using some 500-UPS progesterone cream and see if your mood improves. Do exercise and yoga, too.
