Hi all. Can i take my car to canada from the uk by ferry..........or is it best to rent a car in Canada. I plan on going for 3 month,s ...................................... ps how long will it take and cost by ferry

there is no "ferry", but you can have your car shipped to Halifax, Canada from the Netherlands or Belgium quite easily, but the cost is about CDN$3000, it would be cheaper to buy a car, and then sell it when you leave, or hire a car.

There is no ferry but like someone mentioned you can have it shipped or I have heard of people going over on the QE2 which has a vehicle berth. You have to book quite a bit ahead though and it is expensive. I think as some one suggested you are best to rent or lease a vehicle.

There is no way you could take a ferry, it's too far. I'd rent a car or have it shipped over. Don't rent from an airport, they cost too much for long periods of time.
