were not really good friends.we dont really hangout but his friends are my friends..etc.i want him to notice me without me having to not be myself. but i dont know what to do. ive liked him for a year now and its started to get to the point where i would do anything just for him to say hi to me.how do i do it?

First off, self confidence is the key. You can't always worry about embarassing yourself, otherwise it will happen. Just start a conversation with him, and let it go from there.
Hang out with him a little bit just as friends (i.e. seeing a movie, having coffee, ect.) If theres chemestry between you after that, then one of those times where you're hanging out just as friends might end in a kiss.
Another thing that might work, if you're comfortiable doing it, is telling him how you feel. Don't expect it to be easy, and don't prepare a speech. Just do it in your own words.

He may like you also but he may be too shy to say anything. So since you have an interest in him, you got to make the first move and start talking with him. Once you develop a friendship with him, then you'll know whether or not he is also attracted to you. Try asking just general questions, like how he likes school, where he likes to hang out, what activities is he in to, etc. Have fun!

you're not gonna like my answer.. but if you're being yourself and this boy is still not noticing you, he does not deserve you!! don't let anybody push you to the point where you start acting like someone you're not, dressing in clothes that don't express who you are, or talk in a way that doesn't sound like the real you.

dammit girl, just find the right time to go up to him and ask him out for a drink or bite.
Then you find out if he likes you or not. If yes, awesome go out, if not then you know your answer and you don't have to worry about him any more.

just be yourself, take the chance to say hi to him first. chances are he's shy as you are and maybe is afraid to take that first step. But if you take it and succeed, you'll be happy you did. And please don't change to be someone you're not. good luck to you
