If you are married you should not be having an online affair. Trust me your spouse will be very hurt. You are taking time away from your spouse and given it to someone else. You don't want the online thing to turn into a real life affair. Don't hurt you spouse no one deserves that. Talk to your spouse not other people. If you really want to be in the marriage make it work. The internet is becoming so harmful to marriages.

It's not about who you love more. The realy question is are you man enough to stand up and admit you're "seeing" someone else. If you're having an emotional affair with another woman online, then that is cheating! You need to tell your wife about it because you either need to sit down and work through your problems or get a divorce.
As far as the online affair goes, I can almost guarantee you the person on the internet is no who you think he/she is.
The lovely thing about the internet, is you can lie!
Regardless, even if you choose to stay with your wife, you need to be honest and take responsibility of your betrayal!

the question that person should ask themselves is, why the hell did they put themselves in a situation where something like this would happen?? how did the affair happen, i am sure not over night, so this person was aware of the progress from just chatting to crush to affair etc...there is a reason why he/she didn't stop it...possibly because they are not satisfied in their marriage...and if they are not, then they got their answer.

You really wouldn't know how the other party is like when you start living together. Think you should first find out what is wrong with your relationship with your marriage partner. Try working things out first.

Sounds like a big mess to me. Is there a lot at stake in your marriage? Children, responsibilities, work, friends, finances? That's a major decision, make sure you think it through and give it some more time before you make your choice.

that is not tricky, just ask who you love more, and why did you have the affair in the first place.

THAT IS A TRICKY QUESTION., YOU NEED TO LET YOUR
PARTNER KNOW WHAT GOING ON. IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY
IN YOUR MARRIAGE THEN HONESTLY IS THE BEST POLICY
THERE ARE OTHER PEOPLE INVOLVED IN THIS BESIDE
YOU. YOU KNOW YOU CANT OPEN ONE BOOK UNTIL
THE BOOK THAT YOU ARE READING IS CLOSED.

You wouldn't have to worry about whether you would leave your life partner... because when you'd tell that person , THEY would leave YOU.. .for betrayal.

Why even bring it up? If you're leaving, there's no reason to go into detail.
