I am 46 and Bipolar. I have been on many, many antidepressants to rid myself of anxiety and nothing ever seemed to work.
My psychiatrist put me on Lexapro about a year ago and it has worked great for me. it is the only one that has worked for me. However what works on one person doesn't necessarily work well on another. You will just have to wait to see.
Don't expect miracles over night either because it takes Lexapro between four to six weeks to begin to work so don't get frustrated if you depression doesn't go away like tomorrow. Good Luck

I had wonderful results as far as helping me back to a safer level. After about 6-8 months I seemed to develop a tolerance to Lexapro and found better results after being switched to a different med. my best advice is to keep your Dr. informed of how you're feeling. Good luck.

Um, I do not like or drink espresso besides, however I constantly marvel? I have an Aunt who runs water via the espresso maker a moment time, then provides new stuff within the filter out??? Coffee, to me is constantly sour, in most cases too powerful for my style, so I certainly not bought a addiction for it. I'm certainly not antagonistic to a "Baileys" milkshake despite the fact that, LOLOL Dallas Yowee, do you know that in the event you combine Chambord with membership soda it is a manner cool drink,oh wait, possibly now not the very first thing within the morning despite the fact that.

i started taking it 6 weeks ago. It's great. I cried for three weeks after my baby was born. So my doctor put me on it. I feel so much better now. But it takes about a week to start feeling a difference. I now have more energy and feel alot better. Good luck on it. Hope it works for you
