I asked this same question a while ago. I don't think i ever recieved a good answer. But i would say stop when you don't like the clothes there anymore. I shop in the juniors section and i am 32, i sometimes shop in the misses, actually i shop in both departments and find most of the things i buy in the juniors section. Although i feel as if i am a little too old for juniors but too young for misses. So do what makes you feel good although i would say that by the time you are 50 it might be time to stop shopping in the juniors section.

I dont think there is an age. I'm 30 and still shop in juniors. I dont try to wear anything that shows to much skin though.

I am 20 and over the past few years...like when I started college, I have definitely been steering away from the juniors. I still go there for jeans and pants...jeans are jeans. But for shirts, skirts, dresses, etc... try stores like Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, and New York and Co. They have classy things that are young, but more mature looking!

you can wear them untill you grow out of them, but personally I dont think that a 40 year old should be wearing that type of clothing, there is a difference between junior clothing and adult clothing

I suppose you have to ask yourself if you are an older woman who is just trying to look younger by shopping in the jr's dept. IMHO I think it looks tacky once you've hit your mid twenties and you're still wearing things geared toward 14-16 year olds. If you're shopping in the same section as your daughter who is in JR. High, it's probably time to stop. Not trying to be catty or a *****, just giving my opinion. :)

i would think around 18 or 19, the end of your teen years. then you hop on over to the "misses" section.
