I am sorry for your unjust predicament. In answer to your main question though, I would say yes, they have to answer for their crimes, IF they are caught. You have no idea of the corruption within the judiciary. I do, because I work in the legal field and I see some judges' decisions that fly in the face of logic and jurisprudence. I am all in favor of higher accountability for judges wiithout the further expense of taking it up with the the Court of Appeals.

Judges are assigned to a case on a rota. An individual judge doesn't "owe you a hearing". You don't actually say what country you're in, so it's hard to be specific, but, in general, you can contact the supervising authority - in the US, the Justice Department or your State Attorney's office. If you have evidence of mishandling of your case, they will assign an internal affairs investigation.

What about the Justice Department? You going to need some evidence to submit to them. If you don't have any then why do someone going to listen to your case? You are the only person who going to investigates it. If you investigates it and put this judge behind bar. Believe it or not, some novel writer well come around and write your story for publishing. You can be a book writter too!

Same reason oj was not put in prison: power, corruption, money.
I am seeing the same thing going on in our small town but the lawyers do not get together and ask that the judge be disbarred---due to brotherhood and all that wrong illegal stuff;;;;;;; I HATE CORRUPTION...IT RUINS US AS A NATION, LOOK AT CONGRESS..........wish a reporter would contact me. But then look at some of their records, I am sorry for u.
