I live in the U.S, where they don't tell us much about what's happening there. Sorry.

Why is war not a solution?

Well, it's been tried since Partition, and it hasn't worked yet, has it? Therefore, it's "not a solution."

Normally, I'd suggest that people who live there simply vote on what they want to do (which country to be a part of) but that happened, and the losers didn't like the decision. Those who keep the war going are not the ones dying. That means that the deaths -- the thing that normally ends the war and settles the matter -- don't matter to those who want the war. The strings are being pulled by people whose blood isn't be shed. Therefore, the matter won't be settled via war, but rather with a change in puppet masters.

Kashmir is so beautiful place, and war can destroy the beauty and serenity of this heaven like place on earth. India and Pakistan should live in peace for ever and become an exemplary neighbors, and best Friends.
