I live in Tempe Arizona. So I dont really need to worry about buying for the seasons. I care about my baby and have money set aside. I just dont want to look like older.I dont have any friends who have been pregnant I am only 23 and just two years out of college, so I wouldnt know where to shop because I formerly just shopped at boutiques.

Try Target-they have Liz Lange, she's a designer of maternity wear. You are going to be pregnant thru fall, winter and spring? That is a few diff. seasons of clothing depending on where you live.

Get the basics, but in maternity you should just get less basics! Instead of 4 or 5 pairs of pants, just get 2 or 3 and see how that goes if you are watching your maternity budget.

And remember, when you are done, box them up clean and save for a pregnant friend or donate to a church nearby!

Have a healthy pregnancy and have fun shopping!

There are great maternity consignment shops that will have higher end stuff than an ordinary 2nd hand clothing store. I am sure you can find some in the nearest city. The nicest thing is if you treat your clothes well, you can take them back to the consignment shop after you are done with them and get some of your money reimbursed when they sell to the next person. It's a great system.

Peace!

OK No. Don't go and spend mad money on maternity clothes. That would be silly. In my opinion anyways, I think that it's silly because you are constantly growing and what you buy now won't fit you in three months or when you give birth so it's pointless. I got my stuff from Old Navy. I love the cute shirts and nice jeans. Its durable and extremely comfortable. I wouldn't recommend Motherhood because they have clothes that look like for fifty year old women. I mean its your choice but save your money for a new wardrobe for when you give birth because your body is gonna definitely change. The stuff you have in your closet now most likely won't fit you when you give birth.

Walmart or Target. Don't buy expensive maternity clothes - you'll need the extra money for when baby comes.

Happy Pregnancy...mine was fun.

Well I am not sure what their clothers look like or what they cost however I do hear a lot of women talking about the store "Pea in the Pod". It is supposed to be a really nice maternity clothing store.

Hmmm then if you don't want to buy expensive, look for dept store sales on maternity wear...
OR jsut buy the clothes you life a couple of sizes bigger, and then give to a family member or friend
OR donate to women's shelter...

just ideas...

All I can tell you is that once you have had your baby, you will want to set FIRE to your maternity clothes. They tell you ," And you will be able to wear it AFTER you give birth as well" ...but trust me, you WON'T. If you want to buy something designer, spend your money on a good stroller/pushchair.

There are a few places for sweet deals in fancier stuff. I wouldn't go too crazy, but definately if your able, treat yourself. It doesn't hurt to feel comfortable, look amazing and be confident when your body is doing crazy things to your mind. You can sell the lot on ebay when your through. Check out Thyme (although, not a lot of color varience ), Motherhood (sweet jeans and tops), and a pea in the pod.
Congratulations, good luck and glow!

yes its worth it because trust me, you'll get sick of wearing the same clothes all of the time if you only have a few outfits to select from.
