how do i keep a bed dry by an elederly adult male.i get sick of constantly changing the sheets over and over..

adult diapers sound useful...anybody know of the best kind for overnight use that are the most useful?

You could get adult diapers or something along those lines for the person. Then there are also those absorbant pads that can be laid across the sheet. They have a lining underneath that keeps any liquid from getting to the bed, and they are disposable. You'd still have to put a new one down if necessary, but you souldn't have to change an entire bed.

buy some briefs at CVS or Walgreen's , and when you make up his bed put those green or blue protective pads in the middle of the bed where his bottom is laying on .... check on him every two -four hours at night .... and in the day ask him every hr /and a half if he has to go to the potty....and take him to the bathroom and avoid using the briefs and pads in the day b/c those things can add up.... only use them at night .... unless he's really incontinent them you don't have a choice but to use them all the time but also give him some time where he is not wearing anything at all so that air can circulate down there & he won't catch a rash.....

There is a thing called a condom catheter that basically is a condom with a tube that runs into a bag that hangs on the side of the bed. It can be tricky to put on, but it is more comfortable for them, too, as it cuts down on rash.

u can buy plastic sheets for the matress and put a clean sheet over top , or if u r broke , u can tape garbage bags on the matress
