Okay I work construction and I have a whole bunch of side jobs lined up. Problem is theres so many that I dont think I can do them all without workin myself half to death. I was thinkin maybe I can get them done if I get my sisters kids to help out. They're like 15, 16 so they need the money cause they aint getting **** from their parents. The thing is I dont really want to pay them so I was thinking I'd give them like 5 or 10 dollars for an 8 hour day starting at 6am. Do you think I can legally get away with that?

Not legally. Besides, you are morally bankrupt if you are planning to scam them out of a fair wage for a job.

Why would you want to scam your own relatives. This is scuzzy!

Let me put it this way, if they went along with it and worked for you at that pay rate for those kind of hours they would have to be dummer than you are!

What you are talking about is called child labor at sweat shop / slave labor rates and that is very ilegal. When (not if) you get caught, you would be looking at some serious prison time for not only the child labor violations, but I'm sure the IRS would want to talk with you too! Just so you know, the goverment and the IRS does NOT have a sense of humor when it comes to dealing with people who try to take advantage of children or avoid paying taxes by using child labor!

By the way, are you that greedy that you can't pay your own sisters a decent wage for their work, or is it that you just don't have any morals?

are they slaves or something? maybe 5 or ten dollars an hour. If they are working hard, I would give them 10 an hour. Be fair with your employees. I was paid around 10 an hour for roofing work as a 16 year old from my dad, and I worked hard to earn it.

no, its dangerous for the 15 year old. If the 16yr old is out of school, you can outsource him to do the work,( deoending on labor laws in your state) but you have to pay him a minimum wage for your state. Also since he would be an employee you would have to pay taxes, insurance and social security.

Even though it is not legal you might get away with it if no one tells on you. But would it be right? What if your sister wanted to hire your kids that way, how would you feel about it?

Your planning to screw over your family? This is what's wrong with the world today. You might try looking up the labor laws. You will definatly run into tax problems if someone reports you.

not if the kids are not mentally retarded. Kids that age know what mim wage is and know that you get paid to work.

Sounds like what you want is someone to work and not get paid, Does not work that way in real life
