pidpit, most liberals i know are against the totaliterian fascism mentioned in 1984, but as far as the evidence goes you republicans would welcome such government. The patriot acts and perpetual war... get real, plus what evidence do you have that liberals use more.

Conservatives will also label Democrats as welfare recipients which is really twisted...especially given the fact that organized labor historically identifies more with Democrats.

My gut tells me that most welfare recipients probably don't even vote.

Some people say Democrat, but most welfare recipients don't vote. Democrats are a party for the people, so they have supported programs for the poor, but those monies have long been usurped by the Republicans who handed the funds off to their corporate friends and war profiteers.

Years ago, Republican sympathizers used to like to say that welfare recipients were the biggest problem for the middle class taxpayer, but it wasn't true back then (because corporations were the biggest recipients) and that statment definitely isn't anymore. The number of people receiving food stamps has dropped, even though there are more poor people than ever.
The program was simply closed down.

Quit worrying about welfare recipients and work on getting the rigged Republican voting machines scruitized and reviewed for the elections. That's much more productive.

Maxwell poll, which states that the information is very difficult to substantiate, has it at 60 to 80% Democrat, with a large portion of the remainder not voting. They could not find information on any significant percentage identifying with the Republican party. It is highly likely that the ones who dont vote would be Democrats if they did vote.

Where have you been. Listening to radical Republican extremists? There is no welfare anymore. It was done away with. Some people for a very short time get help to go to school.
Or maybe a few months of food stamps. That is it.
Become informed there is no welfare.

It's always so interesting to hear the kneejerk reactions of the politically manipulated. Especially when they include misinformation like the use of the term "Big Brother" to make their point. Very funny!

If they're white Rednecks living the trailer park, which make up most of the welfare cases, then they're Republican. If they're black and live in the ghetto then they're Democrats.
