Yes I am. Being a good listener is an underrated virtue. A lot of people like talking ad nauseum about themselves, go from one thing to another without skipping a beat, and never come up for air. You could sit the phone down and do a load of wash while some people go on and on about the most inane bullshi*.

personally, i don't think so cause im too emotional. once i heard the sob story, i start crying and tears flowing like a faucet. so that will mess it up, i feel like im helpless and im unable to do anything to assist ..

sometimes if the topic bored me, i have the patient of the hummingbird, i will find a way to jet out quick...

but it is different, if its related to family issue, i linger too long that you will hate me listening and asking question getting to the bottom of it.

if its career wise, about training in the job, im all ears, full attention into it, they wanted me to stay and listened in any of the courses topic so i can grasp everything and explain it back further once we have the chance..

so i guess it varies on occasion if i will be a good or a bad listener...

If you ask my friends, family, clients & acquaintances, the first thing they would tell you is that I am an excellent listener.

I come from the cut that we have two ears and one mouth... we should listen twice as much as we talk...

The reality is, with most people, they talk twice as much as they listen.
