so has the national woken up from the terror us hard rockers just had to endure? an overrated pop group that swept the national and yahoo answersat the same horrible time?!?!?! their music had no rythmn. i mean, if you are going to be and overrated "pop-punk" group, then at least have some instrumention. (i mean beyound a synthesizer, and a "guitar" A.K.A BUZZING) this isn't just my opinion. i hope everyone agrees. they could at the VERY LEAST wear suits like the click five and backstreet boys and sing about teenage love. at least people like that. not "emo-pop" i just wanna see if this trend is over!!

The Panic at the Disco or Dildo as you called them, are not that bad, though where I think your right is that a lot of bands get all hyped up by MTV and you get so sick of hearing them before they even have a shot at making the grade. Kind of like the Pet Shop Boys in the 80's they were an all synthesizer band and were heralded as geniuses but syntesizing really takes no talent at all. Another example: Rolling Stone thought and still thinks Oasis is like the second coming of the Beatles ( which I think they were over-hyped band too, sorry had to throw that in) but they are no where near good as the band is projected. You will notice time and time again there will be bands like this and as quickly as you see them come, they too will go!!! 5 years from now do you believe anyone will remeber them, probably not, they might know a song but thats it and it's over before it begun so on so forth.

I don't think it is over yet. I have been seeing that trend in video and music lately. I think the lead singer had a pretty good voice...but don't really like their music overall. Most of their songs sound the same. So they all dress up in weird clothes and white make-up? I think Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects...just another trend...if you don't like it, don't listen - there are a lot of good hard rockin' new bands out there too! Just remember...trends hopefully don't last too long AND you have a choice what you listen to! :-) Thank Goodness for personal choice!!!

P!ATD is my favorite over FOB, well Fall Out Boy does the same thing, but they try a little too hard. Panic! I wouldn't consider a
"Pop-punk" band at all, or "Emo-pop." They're just a pop band, a good one too. You can't really compare them to the Click Five, cause they suck anyways, and the Backstreet boys... is a boy band. [Duh!] So they have no rythm. It's not supposed to, that's the whole point of the band. Geez!

I've never liked them in the first place. So I hope they go "poof" in the night.

ok, i personally don't like panic! at the disco at all, but come on, that's so immature to go around trying to over-power everyone's opinion on music. if they like it they like it. if they don't they don't. just leave it at that!
