Children are much more adept at seeing spirits for two reasons. One, children are much closer to the spirit world--they left it quite recently to be born. Two, children don't know that things like spirits don't exist. No one has told them yet that ghosts aren't real. So yes, it makes perfect sense that your friend's little sister would see a spirit.

I saw spirits when I was little--I just didn't know that at the time. I was with my grandpa, and we had gone over to see a friend of his on our way to the store. I was outside by my grandpa's truck when a man came by on a bicycle. The man on the bicycle looked to be about 20 years old, and he was dressed as if he was back in the 1930's. He had on the hat that was sort of poofed up in the back but mooshed down in front over the brim. He had on the sort of pants that buckled at the knees, with dark socks leading to his old-looking shoes. He had on a white shirt with an argyle-style sweater vest on. His bicycle looked old too. It wasn't a bicycle with one big front wheel and a little bitty back wheel, but it was obviously an old bicycle. Everything around me was brightly colored, like the green trees and blue flowers, but this man and his bicycle were sort of washed out. Everything about him was shades of brown and gray. He stopped his bike for a minute, looked at me, tipped his hat, said, "Cheerio!" in an English accent, and rode away. I turned around to see if my grandpa had seen him, but he hadn't. When I looked again to see if the man was still down the street, he had vanished. I told my grandpa what I saw, but he thought I was making it up. I was about 4 at the time.

Children of that age still believe in magic and are more likely than adults to have these kind of experiences. She may or may not have the ability to speak with ghosts. It could be that she has seen a picture of Samantha and heard her spoken of frequently enough to 'see' her. On the other hand, she may have a strong connection to Samantha on a spirit level. Only she can tell you.

Well, they might be talking to someone. It doesn't necessarily mean a nice little girl ghost either. I talked to what I though were ghosts when I was five. They took me to the moon and some underwater building in the lake or ocean. It was a long day. They used to bring me things but my dad would try to take them and sell them.Sometimes they would punish him too. He was one of the guys involved with the Philadelphia experiment that never happened too. I don't remember meeting the Easter bunny but I guess they could have done that one also.Once they brought a Raptor to my grade school for show and tell. Many kids wet their seats for some reason that day. I remember some guy from the Air Force sitting in the back of the room sometimes also. Yeah, those were the good ol' days.

as a child I have never been able to but I believe that some kids have the ability I think its a gift they were given. I think its bc 1. they are young and recently put on our earth and 2. the ability goes away when you grow up because it isn't normal or natural that you have those abilities as an adult so they get taken away over time.

Yes children see ghosts and spirits. Your friends sister is seeing the spirit of her aunt , not the ghost of her aunt. A spirit is a person who has passed away and moved on to heaven. A ghost is the spirit of a person who has passed away, but for some reason has remained earth bound, attach to an object or a house/property.

The mind of a child is a wonderous thing, they see things in a totally different way than adults do,ya know? They have imagination, i think this leaves them open to the spirit world that is all around us,but, we can't see it because as we get older we are taught suchs things arn't real and believing in them is childish. They still have the ability to believe, hence ,they can see what we canot in our "wisdome"...we should all take a lesson from children and look with an open heart.

I believe anyone could talk to a ghost. After my Dad died, he did appear to me and I asked he he was ok and out of pain and he said yes he was fine and no more pain. Some people tell me it was a dream or wishful thinking, but I know it was real and that's the most important. So if the girl said she talking to a ghost or friend that's great.

Of course. Anyone can. Just children aren't yet brainwashed with other things, that they can still talk to people in other worlds. No problem don't let it worry you. She is fine and innocent. Pray that only good will come her way.

I believe young children can see things with their minds eye that most adults cannot see, just because they don't have their minds closed to other possibilities (people dwelling on another plane of existence).

Yes they can, and they can do so with anything else in the paranormal realm. The reason is that they have not yet been conditioned by adults around them to not believe in those things so they are much more openminded to them.
