I'M usually ready to roll as soon as the feet hit the ground. i must confess though, they don't hit the ground as fast as they used to years ago.
first sight each day is my beloved lady, sometimes slumbering beside me, sometimes up and out to work before i am, once in a while still catching those last delicious minutes of dreaming while i get ready to make my way outside first.
the first "who" i HEAR is usually the cats, rolling and thumping in the living room and hallway, waiting for breakfast.
yes, i 'm guilty: a morning person through and through. sunrise is one of my favorite times of the day. GOOD MORNING!

I usually wake up relatively cheerful, my cats are the first 2 I see every morning and I must admit they usually aren't too anxious to get up at 5:30 am so I sleep in and have to work late -- yadda, yadda, yadda

I wake up, look at the alarm clock, turn it off before it blares.
Sleep a few more minutes. Then, hurry to the bathroom and shower to wake up before I feel sleepy again.

With big yawn? Mood generally depends on the last day exertion. Normally cheerful. I see the Sun first.

Cheerful and chirpy, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, ready for the day.
And the first person I see is my husband, glaring at me like he really wishes I were back in my depression mode.

My mornings usually begin (well offically around 8:00) with my oldest daughter crying for me to get her out of her crib. But I am up every 3 hours during the night feeding my 6 week old baby.
So I let my daughter out of her crib, turn on the Disney Channel, get her some cheerios and some milk to snack on while i eat breakfast and get hers ready. Then we watch the Doodlebops and the Wiggles....it's my life now, but I wouldn't trade it for anything

I usually wake up against my will and my husband has already made coffee, so I drink coffee and read the newspaper. Then I get dressed and bike to work. That's when I really wake up.
