who's sick of good hard rock (sum 41, offspring) and powerpop (all american rejects) and sucky emo (fall out boy, panic at the dildo) masquerading as punk. punk is sex pistols, iggy bop, the ramones, the buzzcocks and so on. now all you decent bands (green day, sum 41, rise against, and offspring) stop deluding yourselves. you are great pop-rock and hard rock groups, and you all rock, but you can actually play. to all you sucky pop groups (panic at the dildo, the click five, and so on) just go away. all in favor say I!

All American Rejects are awesome! and P!ATD they aren't that bad! and Fall Out Boy they are pretty awesome! sum41 rox and the offspring rock/rocked and green day was better in its older days... Rise Against is cool! I hate when people say crap about how emo music sux and stuff. but i get what your saying about how alot of people are just slapping labels on music that they don't know where it belongs in the labels. (if that wasn't too confusing lol) but I luv rock/hardcore/alternative/punk/emo/metal and stuff like that. All i can say is i think rock no matter what type of rock is somewhat better than rap/pop/hip hop/r&b/country and some other genres... rock beats all!!! but i know alot of music is going down hill right now but all will be good once again. if you haven't noticed. Music changes alot! and change can be bad but no matter how bad it is you can still find the good. you just gotta look. EMO rox btw.

I'm not sick of this musical trend at all. I'm sick of people like you that are sick of it. You are a fricken idiot. I do agree with you though, these bands are more emo than punk. What do you listen to that Metallica bull****? Or do you listen to that Death Metal bull****? Why don't you find a job and stop worrying about musical trends!!!!!!!!! The All American Rejects and Green Day among other bands are all awesome, try listening to them sumetime!!!!!!!! They are talented muscians. New and great bands are being formed everyday. Find a job you have way toooooo much time in your hands to worry about what is going on around you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't agree with everything you said. i understand what you mean. Like alot of newer bands are being labeled punk and well other labels and they aren't those labels at all. i think green Day was better along time ago cuz now it seems like they are just trying to fit into the newer music scene. instead of being themselves. but i kinda like P!ATD and Fall Out Boy (FOB is alot better then P!ATD) and the Offspring rock i like alot of their older music tho and Sum 41 i don't think they are trying to fit into newer music i think they are still very original. And the All-American rejects i don't think are trying to fit in with all the other bands. they are really awesome and better then FOB and P!ATD. (look at my username yeah its tyson ritter gosh thats AAR's lead singer/bassist name!) and rise Against is good. now the click five.. ok the stupid radio disney got a hold of them an now they REALLY suck! they are too poppy for me! their lyrics are the best thing about them... but gosh nope i don't like them really.... Ok but i still kinda understand what you are saying all i can say is the older music trends will come back to life again just right now music is going thru a change but the old stuff will be new once again we just have to be patient. (Hinder is trying to bring back the older rock sound & i think they are doing a good job w/that so im sure we will start seeing more bands trying to change music back to being better we just gotta wait.so hold on and don't lose your luv in music cuz if you do i guess you never loved music anyways.) im sorry if you didn't agree with what i said. I agree, my perception of punk is Bad Religion, The Vandals, Black Flag, The Misfits, Dead Kennedys, etc. etc. etc. I just recently discovered a good punk band...Authority Zero - a nice blend of Bad Religion with a Sublime twist, check them out.

Hey man tell me about it . It's sooo gay that My Chemical Romance and gayer bands get all the covers of Spin and Rollin Stone...but all the good hard rock bands get no coverage at all man. We get beat over the head by the gayest bands out there from radio and mtv. Point in case Alice In Chains have reformed ( w/o Stanely) and they got almost no coverage about them reforming...but when a gay azz band like MCR or Panic at the disco or Cat Power ..who i never heard of (and When I did I wish I didn't)
I wanna hear about the New Velvet Revolver Album coming out.. but nothing about them or Weiland ..just a bunch of news about gay azzed bands.

yep. im a little frustrated with the way music sounds right now. i was very disappointed when i was watching the mtv video music awards..and the best "rock" video was afi. im sorry, but theyre a bunch of weirdos. now, im not bashing anyone for listening to who they listen to. to each his own, but my personal feelings towards the music now is that its terrible. but, im sure i listen to stuff that other people cant stand either. i really get annoyed with that dance dance song, is that fall out boy? who knows, they all sound the same. lol. so ya, thats how i feel about that.

I"m gonna have to go with â¥Tyson Ritterâ¥, I don't agree with EVERYTHING, but most, some of it isn't rock, it's pop bull shÃt.... LOL. anyway, people have their own tastes in music, and if that's what today's youth chooses to listen to, then just let them be, they'll open their eyes some day... hopefully...
