You do well not to trust your government.
Currently, the microchip is NOT the mark of the beast. The mark of the beast is to be placed on the forehead or in the right hand, and without the mark, no buying or selling of food can occur. Currrently, credit cards, and drivers licenses are much closer to being the mark of the beast than micro chips, because credit cards are so much more widely accepted.
Fear the day when cash is no longer accepted for payment.
Could the chip be the mark in the future? Well, quite possibly. Some have suggested using microchips for many of the purposes we now use credit cards, and the old Mobile Speedpass has proven that it can be done, by using the same sort of microchip in a key ring as the type that is stuck onto stray dogs. With animals, these microchips are generally attached to the skull, and talk has abounded that they might be more conveniently scanned for humans if it were attached to the hand.
But for now, we can still pay by cash, or check, or credit card, and no systems for internally attached microchip payments are widely accepted, so it is not the mark.
You know, some people have claimed that the mark of the beast is symbolic, as the deification of man. Seventh day adventists generally point to worshipping on sunday, rahter than saturday as the mark of the beast, because saturday really is the sabbath. However, Jesus was raised from the dead on Sunday, and lest pastors should "work" on the sabbath, we worship on sundays, and rest on saturdays... besides, the mark is a recurring series of Six. Now Friday is the sixth day, and moslems worship on friday, simply because Mohammed said to... is that the mark of the beast?

See the posted five posted articles on this subject, of the human implantable chip known as "M.M.E.A. - MULTIPLE MICRO ELECTRODE ARRAY". Not only is this chip far more sophisticated than any other chip on the marketplace, it is the only one in which the Federal Government is pouring Research and Development monies -- a most telling fact! We have always been on the lookout for the telltale sign of government funding, feeling that the government would seriously fund the research necessary to bring only the one final chip to perfection so Antichrist could use it as he is prophesied.

Short answer--NO.
Computer chips are NOT the Mark of the Beast (whatever the heck that is suppposed to mean, anyway...)
The people on T.V. can't see if you're watching in your underwear.
Velcro was not reverse-engineered from crashed UFO debris.
Genetically engineered corn will NOT mutate you into a half-man/half chihuaha dog creature.
The real world is full enough of real horrors. Why do we insist on making up pretend one when the real ones are horrific enough.

An imbedded chip is already on the market as Pet Locators. The technology exists.
The UPC Code was the precurser of the mark. It is coming.

using RFID implantable chips in pets has allowed testing and extra progression of the technologies in a actual international application. Chips are already being implanted in people who the two choose it (as in the shoppers of a few nightclubs) or in people who've little potential to withstand (victims of dementia, prisoners, and quickly the militia). See the information hyperlinks under.

I would say no. But I still will not willing take it.
Did you know that pretty soon though, our government will be putting these microchips in all the products we buy, sell and ingest?

Doubtful, The mark of the beast will be somthing that people will not recognize as the mark. I meen, most people think the mark will be a chip, so most people will not accept it. It will be somthing that people will not even think of as being the mark of the beast.... Granted, I could be wrong.
