The fans really deserved that. I am an A's fan but it was still good to see. I cant wait to see the A's vs. Tigers. Its gona be a great series.

Yes it was. Very classy! I loved the way the players carried JIm Leyland off the field. Kenny Rodgers pouring champagne over a state trooper on The Tigers dugout. The way The Tigers went out on the field, after being in the clubhouse, and sprayed fans with all that bubbly.

There is some justice in an Athletics vs. Tigers ALCS because both of their football teams really bite and this is their cities' chance for some joy. I hope it is a great series. I like either one against either the Cards or Mets.

It was awesome, I wasn't lucky enough to have tickets but we watched & celebrated @ Chellies (Chris Chelios bar, across the street). It was amazing, this city has not got to celebrate w/ the Tigers since I was a tot. It was like the when the wings won the cup.

I have never been so happy to see the Yankees lose.
Let's hope the Tigers don't beat up the A's too much so Oakland will be ready to sweep the World series!

YES! I got blasted with Champagne from Kenny Rogers. We were going crazy! It is one of those moments I will never forget as long as I live. I was really worried going in against the Yankees and our boys did it. Just seeing them so excited really made it fun.

Oh my gosh, yes it was! It was so cool, I felt really happy with them! It was much more energized than the A's celebration ( I watched both) and it made me happy. It was great :) I would've loved to be a fan that got showered with champagne or especially the one who got the hat!

It is ALWAYS gratifying to see players share the joy with their fans... especially when they were as LOW as the Tiger fans have been over the years.
