Any community college offers a series of good programming courses. If you have ZERO knowledge, I would recommend taking classes like "basic computer concepts" and "algorithm" before taking programming. Understanding the structure of the computer will help you greatly as you progress in programming classes.

First try going to the local vocational school and try one of their night course's and see if it's up your alley!

goto sun's website and look for java courses . That have many starter course online for free!!!!
