I've been staying up really, REALLY late playing an online game for the past 5 days or so. This last time, when I decided to log off and go to bed, everything looked weird. Everything I looked at got big and small. I guess the best way to describe it is that I felt like a giant or something. Also, when I would look at something, I would see something from the game in it's place. What exactly happened?

You had exhausted yourself. When you're that tired, things seem- well, surreal. There was a story some months ago about a guy in a cybercafe overseas who had in fact killed himself with exhaustion while playing his games.

You might want to start setting a limit to how long you're online, and go to bed afterwards.

your eyes were strained from looking at the computer screen too long along with you being tired.

prolonged eye strain could cause permanent damage to your vision. you should go to bed at a decent time and when you start to notice your eyes bothering you-it's time to shut the computer off for a while.

things that might help are to make sure the computer screen is at least 18-28 inches away from your face, and to reduce the brightness on your computer screen.

No, you did not come close to dying. Your body can get so tired and exhausted that you start to hallucinate. This is what happened to you. You'll be fine, but you need to get some sleep because hallucinating can be dangerous. When I say "dangerous" I mean you could accidentally hurt yourself. Go to bed!
