In the episode that your are talking about(Episode 16: The Broken Seal)he almost dies. He is kind of drifting between life and death in that episode.He woke up to find Sakura crying ON him.For all I know he doesnt die,but I bet if anyone else answers this theyll know! I sure hope he doesnt die!!!
