In a straw poll among my friends, I found that quite a few of them didn't have sex on their wedding night because they were too tired from the festivities of the day. I attribute some part of whether or not they had sex to the status of their relationship. More of the ones that had already been in a sexual relationship with their partner before marriage skipped the sex, while my virginal friends could barely keep their hands off each other during the reception. :)

i would say a large portion do engage in sex on their wedding night,,since a wedding is two lives coming together a way that is expressed is through sex, if not that night then most likely on their honeymoon.

Most have it before, years before and generally too tired or too drunk to screw on the wedding night.
