Yes that saying is very true. You think you know where your life is going to go but sometimes it's the unexpected detours that become your life. You just never know what's going to happen. Certain things (like love) you can't plan for. They just show up unexpectedly while you're doing other things.

When you are carrying out your work and making decisions the way you do, your

1) past conscious + subconscious actions and

2) present subconscious actions

. . . inspire life to take a particular course mostly without your awareness.

That's what John Lennon said! Actually he sang it in a song that I used to sing to my son when he was a baby--"Beautiful Boy"

Before you cross the street, take my hand.
Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy.

good question!
really good question. it kinda makes me realize that maybe i can actually get a life, by just planning to make one.
see, the thing is im in a funk right now. a bad one.
and it all seems so pointless. but if you're question is right, if i can actually make myself get up, get out there and plan, then just maybe life might happen to me, one can only hope.

gimme 10 points? please please?

Ha HA! that's from a John Lennon song! (Beautiful Boy, right? I love that song!!!) and humm...it sorta does but it probably wouldn't be as interesting as it would be if you just focused on living your life well.

You're just taking life for granted if you're doing so. You're wasting a lot of oppurtunity that may come to you by surprise
