guitar size depends on the number of frets. 22 is standard. however there are 25 fret guitars. the extra frets are not really needed however they are often used in solos.

Yes, that is full length. It is the scale length, which is the distance from the nut to where the bridge would be if it did not need to be adjusted for tuning.
