Check if it is plugged in, or you might want to take the speakers back.

Go to Control PANEL, click on the Audio icon, check for mute
and disable it. If you do not have a sound card, then restart your system, go into the BIOS and look for your audio switch, it may be disabled. Set it to enable and continue to boot.

My best advice is just reinstall the sound driver. Make sure the speakers have not come undone first. Good luck!
If that does not work put a search into Yahoo search with the name of the manufacturers of the sound card and see what they have on their site.

Your Sound card is fine or else you wouldn't be able to check if it's on MUTE or not. Turn off your computer & check to see if everything is plugged in solid. They plug into the wall too. :)

If you're hearing music but no vocals, you should check the balance. I'm not too great with mechanics and such, so if I'm wrong... sorry!
