Not all the time; same as with my family. But sometimes I am probably just as guilty as they are...

Depends which inlaw you are asking the question about, but I try to get along with everyone and on my hubby's side he has 3 sisters and his parents have passed when he was young, but I will say I have a close relationship with all of them. I feel if you love your spouse then love the whole package including his whole family. Mother in laws are very protective over their children regardless son or daughter and father in laws seem to be less for some reason, past ex'experiences. But if you are having trouble with an in law, if you love your mate then try, try to accept his family for who they are. Remember, you don't sleep with them, you sleep with him/her and they aren't the ones taking full time care of your kids, you both are. Don 't be so tough on yourself and best way to mend families I think is at the holidays. No one wants to fight or argue and will put on a happy face no matter what.
Good Luck and hope this answered your question.

Most of the time but not always. I just try to love them as much as I can and when that doesn't work--bite my tounge. LOL

My husband doesn't have any in laws...so he considers himself lucky. I can't stand his mother! He can't stand his father so...it's such a joy!
