The real question I meant to ask is what will child be in terms of character/physical traits, if an egg from left ovary is fertilized compared to that of right ovary.

Note: Please do not confuse make up of the child with sex of the child.

Nope, not a thing. Each and every one of your hundreds of eggs is different, no matter which side it comes from. And you'd never know the difference unless you're tracking ovulation very closely with a doctors help, or if there is some medical condition affecting one of the ovaries.

The gender of the child is determined by the chromosome that fertilizes the egg. Men carry both X and Y chromosomes. Women only carry X chromosomes. When the sperm meets the egg... if the male chromosome is X then it's XX making the child a girl. If the male chromosome is Y then the make up is XY making the child a boy. It may sound complicated, but that's only half of the genetic stuff I learned in HS Biology.

No. It has to do with the chromosomes found in the sperm and egg. And f.y.i the sperm determines the child's sex.
