Why would we need a MicroChip or National ID CARD?

To me that seem fishy

For immergration workers I understand it completely but for someone that never been in trouble or plain to leave the USA, don't make full sense?

Seem like alot of money on the USA

If you have a drivers licence or a non driver ID card, you alrady have a "national ID card" since all drivers licenses are on a national data base NCIC for police to run and check them anytime they want already.

Your social security card links you to an entire data base of credit or retirement and work history with the IRS.

For the police to be able to positively ID someone is needed so badly, I can tell you of the dozens of times I have personally let a wanted person go ( sometimes dangerous) because there was no way to ID them

The computer chip would be in the ID Card

i think its mainly to do with our saftey, like,with all of the terrorists,
they would want to keep track of the citizens. or maybe it has to do with the illeagal immagrants. but i agree, it sounds fishy
