Having sex while pregnancy is fine, books I've read even suggest that your orgasms are soothing to the baby. Although it can make you have slight contractions so if you are at risk for premature labor, I would either avoid orgasming or avoid sex all together.
The best position to use is from behind, IMO.
*And do NOT go missionary. That poster has no idea what they are talking about. Laying on your back for extended periods of time while pregnant can cut off your baby's oxygen supply. Either take it from the back or while you are on your left side or ride him but do not lay on your back.

Best Positions for Sex During Pregnancy
Compiled by Dottie Enrico
Because your body doesn't change that much in the first trimester, sex can pretty much continue as it has in the past. Later, as the uterus grows, some positions may become more difficult to perform. Sex expert Pepper Schwartz, PhD, offers these suggestions on the best sexual positions during pregnancy:
Spoon: The spoon position can be very cozy and intimate. In this case you should lie on your side curled in a C, with your partner facing your back and curled around you. He then enters your vagina from behind while both of you are lying on your sides.
Side by side: Another good choice for late pregnancy, this position will control thrust and keep weight off your belly. You and your husband lie side by side, facing each other. He slips his leg over yours (your leg can be either straight and to the side or bent at the knee) and enters you from an angle. In a variation of this, you lie on your back and he on his side. Put your leg that's closest to him over his legs. He can enter you from the back and side, and still have his face next to yours.
Woman on top: This can be a satisfying position during late pregnancy, allowing you to control pacing and be more comfortable. Make sure, however, that he doesn't enter you too deeply.
Edge of the bed: Try lying down face-up on the edge of the bed, with your legs spread and the soles of your feet on the floor. Your partner can stand or bend over you. This position, however, does allow him to thrust more deeply, so you'll have to tell him how gentle and slow you want him to be.
If you find that intercourse is too uncomfortable as your belly grows, explore other types of sexual gratification, such as oral sex (don't blow air into the vagina) or mutual masturbation.

Yes it's okay to have sex. As a matter of fact, my cousin's doctor advised her to have sex while she was 8 months pregnant. It's good exercise. As for the position, since your'e 8 months, it's best if you lie on your side. Have you partner enter you from behind on his side. Like he's hugging or holding you from behind. Therefore, your belly won't be in the way and you'll feel more comfortable.

OMG yes! Have at it! And just use positions that are comfortable. If you are worried ask your doctor, but its pretty normal. A couple to try...spooning(yes it works LOL!), girl on top, reverse girl on top, and even missionary just more upright for your man:) Added bonus:Semen contains prostaglandins that will help get things moving for the baby coming out(perhaps why you are craving sex??) Anyway I say have fun!I do know if you are dialating the doc might say its a no, but there is more to lovemaking than intercourse.Good luck with your baby!!!

No... not really. With my daughter, I craved milk. Went through 6 or 7 gallons a week. Ack... With my son, I craved meat and there for awhile I wanted pickles. Ate 2 or 3 jars in a few days span. Everyone has different cravings... I've never been fond of eggs, though.

Yes it is OK to do it, you can even do it right up till you go into labour, just find a position that is both comfortable and pleasurable for both you and your partner.
Good Luck with everything

Yes! It is okay to have sex during pregnancy. The best position for that would have to be you on top or doggie style.

yes it is, and I would suggest sticking to doggy style, only because that position is used as an exercise to get the baby in the proper postion to avoid back labor..........so you might as well get some too.......I liked it in any position when I was pregnant....as long as it was gentle....
