"Lion King?" For a biology class?
Gee, what's going on in public schools today, when they watch movies instead of studying biology in biology class?
I guess that's what happens when Christians succeed in keeping science and biology and evolution out of the public schools -- kids just watch movies instead of learning genuine science.
No wonder the rest of the world is starting to pass us by.

True Lions fans overrate their team like it's nothing and then whine like a bunch of babies when people don't agree with them. They are a wildcard team at best, but I wouldn't be surprised if they fall below .500 EDIT: I also love how Lions blame officiating for losing to the Packers when they were lucky to be playing a team that was resting it's starters and had nothing to play for in the first place, and how about the fact that the refs handed them their second game against the Vikings with an obvious missed facemask call, don't see them mentioning that do you?

The Lion King has the best beginning out of any of Disney's movies. Try putting the movie on, pump it through a 5.1 sound system, and turn the volume all the way up. There is no comparison.

Out of all the movies that makes me cry, "The Lion King" is one out of two. Two being "A Walk to Remember". But I still love that movie.

It's my favorite Disney movie. I think it is the best one.
When I was in 3rd grade some friends and I did a dance to one of the songs from it for the talent show. And I, being the smallest, got to be Simba and they lefted me up at the end.

Yeah, it's a great movie and a good way for kids to be introduced into Shakespeare (it's based on Hamlet)
And to the guy who said Christians are taking science out of schools.. Maybe you should go think about what science is. Evolution isn't science. You can't observe it, and you can't recreate it. It's as much a philosophy as creation. Grow up and get over yourself.

Tell me about it! I could pop the movie in today and recite most of the lines...of course, that just makes me a nerd. It's a great film though. I recently watched The Wild and found myself irritated because it sucked so bad in comparison.

It is really great, isn't it. I know what you mean about forgetting what a great story it is. If you have the chance to see the play, you really should. It is just as good, but in a different way.
