The code is referring to the Manifold Absolute Pressure / Barometric Sensor circuit is out of range.
The computer issues a 5-volt reference signal to the sensor, and uses the return value to determine the vacuum level in the intake side of the engine.
This code is set when the computer sees a voltage outside of expected range. (A short to ground = lower than expected voltage, a short to power = voltage beyond V-ref; or an open circuit shows no voltage drop across the circuit and component)
Check the wiring, the connectors, voltage at the MAP communication pins at the computer, and check the MAP sensor for proper critical values.
